The system configuration is at the basic condition for an efficient parking management system. There are, in fact, numerous applications depending on the type of parking lot that needs to be managed, the number of entrances, exits and cashier stations, whether these are manual or automatic, and other add-ons devices such as long
range reader, traffic light, parking slot counter and intercom. There are different Ps automated cashier models available that will suit to the clients specific requirement. This system can be set up over a number of parking levels up to a maximum of 10,000 parking spaces. The minimal configuration, however, can operate with only two units, at the entrance and exit, and with only one attended cashier station for manual payment of parking.

Small parking facilities can operate with the minimal configuration, that is, the entrance unit, the exit unit and the manual cashier. A typical application would be the parking lot of a shopping mall where customers use the parking spaces and pay directly at the attended outdoor cashier or directly indoors at the retail outlets.
Large parking lots may require multiple entrance and exit units, but above all, they require automatic payment stations. The system can always be integrated with a manual payment stations or auxiliary payment stations located in remote points of the parking lot. This configuration enables subscribers using transponder cards and key-chains to be managed.
